Your future role

  • Lead the accounting team in processing invoices for internal and external clients 
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and monthly management reports 
  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, and explain budget variances to senior management 
  • Coordinate and support audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies. 
  • Prepare, monitor, and manage the annual budget process 
  • Collaborate with North American team members across Logistics, Sales, and Operations to ensure seamless financial operations 
  • Implement and monitor new accounting procedures, driving process improvements 
  • Oversee project & construction accounting including job cost reporting and WIP analysis (POC, cost-to-complete, margin) and identifying risks 
  • Manage intercompany & technical accounting, including intercompany reconciliations, governance documentation, and support for revenue recognition/contract structures 
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a high-performing team environment 

Required skills

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and US GAAP
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Global perspective on financial mandates and business operations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills
  • CPA certification – considered a strong asset.
