We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician for our Carrot River manufacturing facility. If you are Red Sealed and want to work in a production facility where you can use your electrical aptitude to regularly inspect, repair and maintain all mobile and stationary production equipment to minimize downtime and to further advance our continuous improvements, keep reading as this role may be for you.
Being a Journeyman Electrician — with Premier Tech means that you will:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician Certificate (Interprovincial Red Seal preferred), registered or eligible to work in Saskatchewan
- Willing to apprentice as Millwright
- Ensure the Health and Safety practices and processes are upheld, and the premises, team members and operations are safe.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs efficiently
- Ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code and local regulations
- Perform in accordance with a preventive maintenance program, verification, disassembly, repair, assembly, adjustment, and overhauls to maintain mobile and production equipment.
- Accurately document and track all work completed.
- Regularly communicate and collaborate with management and fellow team members.
- Ability to work in a rotating shift environment.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Computer knowledge

- You possess basic level computer skills — MS Office, Excel, Outlook — and can operate a PC-based CMMS system.

- You can work independently and multitask within a fast-paced environment.
