Your future role
- Act as a key team member in carrying out projects for the Premier Tech Water and Environment website
- Understand the overall marketing strategy and translate it into persuasive content tailored to different target markets, with the goal of supporting lead generation, brand credibility, conversion optimization, and user clarity
- Collaborate proactively and diplomatically with business teams to identify and align content needs with communications best practices and business objectives
- Write technical content by making complex concepts accessible, accurate, and persuasive, including creating impactful headlines and effective calls to action
- Develop high-quality storytelling content that highlights the relationship between products/services and customers
- Adapt writing style according to the audience—whether professional or end-user—and brand
- Write content in accordance with provided briefs, including SEO instructions, to ensure content quality and web visibility
- Understand how a website works and effectively structure content blocks
Required skills
- Degree in journalism or communications
- Minimum of two years’ experience in web or digital writing
- Mastery of technical writing and storytelling principles
- Curiosity, confidence, and autonomy in seeking information from experts to develop comprehensive, high-quality content
- Team spirit, proactivity, and openness to constructive criticism as part of a continuous-improvement mindset
- Rigour and skill in adapting word choice, tone, style, and structure to make content accessible to target audiences
- Ability to present a portfolio demonstrating a variety of writing projects, including at least one example of long-form web content of 2,000 words or more
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, for communication with our team members, clients, and suppliers outside of Quebec
