Your future role

As part of the launch of our new production site in Amposta, Spain, we are recruiting our future Production Manager. Reporting to the Sales Director based in Spain, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of the site and then taking over its management. More specifically, your role will consist of:

  • Planning orders and coordination the team ensuring that production targets are met
  • Leading and motivating the team, providing training and support to enhance performance
  • Managing resources, personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize production efficiency
  • Implementing quality control measures to ensure that products meet required standards and specifications
  • Monitoring production costs and working to reduce waste and improve profitability
  • Identifying and addressing production issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime
  • Ensuring that production processes comply with safety regulations
  • Preparing KPI'S on production performance, efficiency, and other key metrics for management review

Required skills

  • Expertise in production processes, quality control, and manufacturing methods
  • Engineering degree in production, industrial engineering, or a related field
  • 3-6 years in production or manufacturing management, preferably with exposure to plastic production processes
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, production software and other tools
  • High level of proficiency in English
  • Strong team management and leadership abilities
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify issues and implement solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with teams, management, suppliers, and customers
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain high organizational standards
  • Understanding of safety regulations relevant to the production environment
  • Skills in cost management and financial analysis to optimize production efficiency and profitability
