Jouw toekomstige rol

Onze financiële afdeling in Nederland (Eersel) is verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen van boekhoudkundige en financiële dossiers en voert het doorlopende financiële beheer uit voor onze vestigingen in Nederland, het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Duitsland. In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheren van de grootboekadministratie, zorg je voor nauwkeurige en tijdige financiële rapportages en ondersteun je de algehele financiële gezondheid van de organisatie.

Specifiek omvat jouw rol:

• Het onderhouden en afstemmen van het grootboek, waarbij je de nauwkeurigheid van financiële gegevens waarborgt
• Het opstellen en verwerken van journaalposten, inclusief overlopende posten, voorzieningen, vaste activa en herclassificaties
• Assisteren bij de tijdige en correcte indiening van de maandelijkse btw- en ICP-aangiften
• Uitvoeren van maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen op tijdige wijze
• Het opstellen van financiële rapportages, waaronder balans en winst- en verliesrekeningen
• Assisteren bij de voorbereiding van documentatie voor externe audits
• Zorgen voor naleving van interne controles, boekhoudkundige richtlijnen en relevante financiële wetgeving
• Samenwerken met andere leden van het financiële team om financiële gegevens te analyseren en inzichten te bieden ter ondersteuning van de besluitvorming
• Het afstemmen en beheren van intercompany transacties en zorgen voor gebalanceerde intercompany posities
• Ondersteunen van de teams van Accounts Payable en Receivable bij het oplossen van verschillen en zorgen voor een correcte codering van transacties
• Deelnemen aan initiatieven voor continue verbetering om bestaande boekhoudmethoden, werkprocedures en bedrijfsprocessen te optimaliseren
• Assisteren bij de implementatie van nieuwe boekhoudsystemen of processen indien nodig

Je toekomstige werkomgeving

Je standplaats is in Eersel, Nederland, het Europese hoofdkantoor van Premier Tech Systems and Automation.

Vereiste vaardigheden

• Minimaal een bachelor in accounting, finance of een gerelateerd vakgebied met relevante werkervaring
• Sterke kennis van boekhoudprincipes, standaarden en normen
• Ervaring met ERP-systemen (bij voorkeur JD Edwards) en gevorderde kennis van Excel
• Sterke analytische vaardigheden en oog voor detail
• Bereid om te werken met strakke deadlines
• Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden met een proactieve benadering van probleemoplossing
• In staat om zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband te werken
• Talen: Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk – Duitse taalvaardigheden zijn een pre
• Een aangename persoonlijkheid en een goed gevoel voor humor
• Ervaring in een productie- of industriële omgeving is een voordeel

Your future role

Our finance department in The Netherlands (Eersel) is responsible for the preparation of accounting and financial files and performs ongoing financial management for our sites in The Netherlands, The United Kingdom and Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Specifically, your role will involve:

• Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger, ensuring the accuracy of financial data
• Prepare and process journal entries, including accruals, provisions, fixed assets, and reclassifications
• Assist in ensuring timely and accurate filing of monthly VAT and ICP returns
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in a timely manner
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements
• Assist in preparation of documentation for external audits
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant financial regulations
• Collaborate with other finance team members to analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
• Reconcile and manage intercompany transactions and ensure balanced intercompany positions
• Support the Accounts Payable and Receivable teams in resolving discrepancies and ensuring proper coding of transactions
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance existing accounting methods, work procedures, and business processes
• Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems or processes as needed

Your future work environment

You will be based in Eersel, the Netherlands, the European headquarters of Premier Tech Systems and Automation.

Required skills

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with relevant working experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and norms
• Proficient in ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards) and advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Willing to work with tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Languages: Dutch and English, both verbally and in written form – German language skills are a plus
• A pleasant personality and a good sense of humor
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage
