Light Equipment Operator

We are currently seeking two team member for a light equipment operator (Forklift)  position in our Premier Tech Growers and Consumers plant located in Mattaponi. This horticulture facility processes growing media for our customers who in turn feed, protect and improve our world.

Your future role

• You have previous forklift experience.
• You will assist with the overall operation of the facility; in many instances, it will not involve forklift operation.
• Your shift is Mon – Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm with the possibility of limited overtime.
• You will work inside and outside of the facility in all safe weather conditions.
• You will be an active participant in keeping the facility clean and organized.
• You can abide by all safety regulations.

Required skills

• You work well in a production environment, within a team setting and have effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• You are a team player that places high value on safety.
• You can work independently and can multitask in a high paced environment.
• You can lift up to 50lbs.
• You can foresee and respond to potentially dangerous situations.
