Front-End Loader Operator

Do you like the environment that a production facility provides?  Would you like to participate in producing horticulture products that nourish people and beautify North America?  Our Mattaponi, VA production facility is presently seeking to expand the team with a Front-End Loader Operator.  This position is key to helping Premier Tech meet the ever-increasing demands for our horticulture products.

Being a Loader Operator with PTGC means:

• Working at a production facility operating front-end loaders, grinders and screening equipment and occasionally assisting in other processing areas;
• Respecting safe material loading, handling and unloading methods;
• Performing pre/post inspections, routine maintenance and upkeep of the mobile, grinding and screening equipment as per established guidelines;
• Working safely and keeping the safely of others at the forefront,
• Your shift is Monday – Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm with occasional overtime.

Is this role for you? 

• You’re seeking a role which involves operating heavy equipment.  Previous loader operator experience is required;
• You are a high school graduate or possess a GED;
• You have the physical ability to safely climb in and out of equipment, to lift 65 pounds, sit for long periods of time and work in varying weather conditions and in a dusty and dirty environment;
• You have the ability to think independently while successfully functioning in a team environment and contributing to team goals;
• You have a basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning.
