Your future role
- Execute increased scope from 360º service portfolio — proposals, process engineering, client support — at customer sites.
- Share market intelligence and customer insight
- Communicate reports and take action to resolve customers’ issue
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical problems with deep applications and deep product knowledge at customer sites or remotely
- Monitor process-related activities for various water treatment technologies — especially SBR and package treatment plants — at client location or remotely and provide technical support to customers
- Train customers on product and operation of equipment
- Follow up on actions and commitments made to customers
- Manage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in a timely manner
- Communicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences
- Work with third party suppliers to coordinate equipment design and manufacturing
- Participate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related approval activities as needed
- Lead internal initiatives aimed at lessons learnt and misses in executed projects and independently drive to closure
- Ensure vendor coordination to collect & negotiate techno-commercial quotes for submitting an offer to the client
- Travel for extended periods of time for bubble assignments, field support and meetings across the globe
Required skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited University or College
- At least four years’ experience in mechanical or chemical engineering
- Two to five years’ experience in process engineering and techno-commercial proposal preparation of a wide variety of water treatment technologies and projects, especially SBR, MBR, MBBR and package treatment plants
- Understanding of water treatment processes on various technologies
- Good communication skills
