Your future role in a few words

  • Issue recommendations to the Leadership Team based on the financial results analysis
  • Collect, analyze and record operational and financial data
  • Develop and implement internal control methods and ensure their efficiency
  • Contribute to budget preparation and tracking and explain discrepancies as needed
  • Take part in the development and evaluation of financial performance indicators
  • Use financial simulation and forecasting models
  • Close fiscal years
  • Collaborate on the auditing process with our external auditors
  • Optimize the tools and processes dedicated to the production of financial reports

Required skills

  • Five years of experience in accounting and budget planning
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Mexican accounting and tax standards
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Good sense of priorities
  • Proficiency in ERP systems — JD Edwards, CONTPAQi and AdminPAQ
  • Good command of Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish — spoken and written
  • Intermediate level of spoken and written Portuguese — an asset
