The role
In this role you will be responsible for developing, testing and correcting operational electrical machinery and equipment while adhering to pre-established guidelines and engineering specifications. You will be programming automation and control systems using mainly Siemens S7 (Tia Portal) but also Allen Bradley, B&R, Fanuc and ABB Robots. You are familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Automation Engineering and you rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. The job requires the individual to be a team player with the ability to function well in a dynamic and stimulating environment.


Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Build up machine modules/programs in Siemens Tia Portal, Allen Bradley and B&R;
  • Test machinery together with the team in house to deliver a fully functional system;
  • Work in a team to create and maintain the standard for the machine software;
  • Developing and implementing communication with a customer or third-party equipment;
  • Support in new developments;
  • Communicate with mechanical and hardware engineering as well as with the test department and improve functionality of the machine.


Your profile:

  • Minimum MBO level 4 degree in Mechatronics/Software related fields;
  • Relevant technical working experience in an industrial manufacturing environment;
  • Ability to work with control systems (Siemens Tia Portal, Allen Bradley, B&R, ABB Robots, Fanuc etc.);
  • Opportunity to travel internationally;
  • Strong skills in time management;
  • Organized, reliable and a team player;
  • Good communication skills in Italian and English.
