Your future role

  • Develop, implement and manage effective safety systems in collaboration with a team of professionals
  • Support site leaders in all safety-related aspects
  • Be the health and safety reference for site leaders
  • Ensure that newly identified risks are effectively managed
  • Deliver safety orientation training
  • Participate in joint health and safety committee meetings
  • Promote Premier Tech’s Culture and Values
  • Set the tone for safety by demonstrating safe behaviors and inspiring others to follow
  • Create engaging and impactful content (including PowerPoint presentations) that supports learning and collaboration
  • Learn and manage the organization’s accident management software, serving as the key contact and system expert for assigned sites
  • Build positive, trusting relationships by acting as a supportive health and safety advisor, helping managers and teams integrate safety into daily operations

Required skills

  • Diploma in HR or degree in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong, trusting relationships
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
  • Effective communication abilities, both written and oral
  • Experience in delivering training sessions and workshops
  • Proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Willingness to travel to worksites in Western Canada and USA, up to 40% of the time
  • Valid class five driver’s license
  • Bilingual in English and French (an asset)
